Kind of bought a lot of random camera equipment. With the end goal of being able to shoot somewhat cinematic shots that seem to be taking over the landscape.

I have access to a parking garage that I imagine will be quite empty this weekend, any typical shots people really like that I can look into?

Shots I have in mind:

Slider shot, headlights turn on mid shot

Vertical pan shot displaying background then onto car

Slider shot of the wheels and tail lights

Slider shot around a column revealing the car

Hot wheels perspective reveal

I’m sure they all have specific names, completely new to this though.

Links would be cool.

My favorite photo and the subject of the video in question for your time

This describes most of the stuff you listed. This channel and petrolicious are both good for inspiration.

IMO this one is 10/10 worth stealing

Really just copy Savage Geese anyway you can and you’ll be fine.

I was a bit skeptical of what looked like a car review, but man that opening shot was pretty nifty and the shots are interwoven very nicely and very subtle, thanks!

Oh definitely, the NSX one is a motivation for sure. They do some very smooth work.

He definitely does good work, he pays a lot of attention to detail. I remember one time he was reviewing a car with a tan interior, and when he was filming himself sitting in it, he removed the headrest so it wouldn’t blend in with his head. It’s little things like that, that make a big difference.
